My background is in Photojournalism.
I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Radio, Television and Motion Pictures. After that, I spent about 6 years working for various TV stations in North and South Carolina. Then I worked another 12 years at Duke University in their video production department....still loyal to my HEELS!
While working in the news field, I earned my EMT certification and worked my way up through becoming a paramedic.
Currently, I am a full-time paramedic instructor at Johnston Community College.
I still enjoy shooting pictures, mainly of my kid's school and competitive athletic events.
I freelance some of the pictures to the local newspapers.
I have also had a number of people ask about getting my pictures, so after much consideration, decided to set up this site. The research I did showed Smugmug to be one of the top and most reliable websites for sharing and buying pictures.
My intent is not to get rich, but simply cover my costs with maybe a little left over to enjoy my hobby of shooting...pictures and my firearms.
